  20. 1 pinch asafoetida
  21. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  22. 1 tsp coriander powder
  23. 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
  24. to taste salt
  25. As needed water

Instructions to make to make Healthy Dalia khichdi

  1. Clean and wash dalia thoroughly in enough water. Drain and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in the cooker and add cumin seeds, green cardamom, black cardamom, cloves, black peppercorns, and cinnamon stick to it. Cook for a minute.
  3. Now, add asafoetida, onion, ginger, and garlic to it. Mix well and cook till golden brown.

  7. Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid. Serve hot.
