- 1 cup pony south Indian rice
- 1/2 cup Mogar moog sal
- to taste Salt
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- Vegetables :-
- 2 -onion chopped
- 1 -tomato chopped
- 1/2 cup cauliflower chopped
- 1/2 cup french beans chopped
- 1/4 cup carrot chopped
- 1/4 cup green peas
- 2 tbsp grated garlic
- 1 -Small piece of ginger grated
- 1/4 Cup chopped coriander
- Roasted Masala :-
- 2 tbsp dhaniya seeds
- 1 tbsp jeera seeds
- 2-3 cinnamon pieces
- 4-5 cloves
- 1 tbsp saunf
- 3 -elaichi
- 2 -red kashmiri chilli
- For puree:-
- 1 cup tamarind pulp
- 1 cup grated fresh coconut
- 1/4 cup roasted masala
- For tempering :-
- 4 -tbsp ghee
- 1 tsp hing
- 1 tsp jeera
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1/2 tea spoon saunf
- 2 -red dried red kashmiri chilli
- 10 - Curry leaves
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tbsp. cashewnuts
- 3 tbsp Almond
- 3 tbsp raisins
- For garnishing :-
- as needed Fried south Indian Papad
- as needed Roasted salted Almonds
- as needed Chopped coriander
- as needed Curry leaves stem
Instructions to make to make Shahi Bisibele Rice
- First cook soaked rice dal adding salt & turmeric and keep aside
- Now roast masala,cool them frist grind roasted masala then add grated coconut & tamarind pulp and make fine puree in mixer grinder
- Heat a big kadai add ghee, rai,jeera & saunf when starts cracking add curry leaves,red chilli,almond,Cashew nuts,raisins and hing now first add garlic ginger grated & cook for a while now add one by one all the vegetables and cook till all the vegetables are cooked add puree when starts bubbling add cooked dal rice and mix well cook for a while
- Tasty bisibele rice is ready to serve sprinkle chopped coriander and garnish with papad roasted salted Almonds & curry leaves stem serve hot in a plate
