- 2 tbsp chopped raddish
- 2 tbsp chopped chauli
- 2 tbsp chopped French beans
- 2 tbsp chopped capsicum
- 3 tbsp chopped cauliflower
- 3 tbsp chopped cabbage
- 1/4 cup chopped Brinjal
- 2 tbsp chopped bottle gourd
- 2 tbsp chopped sweet potatoes
- 2 tbsp chopped pumpkin
- 1 cup chopped potatoes
- 1 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1 cup chopped green onions
- 2 tbsp chopped green turmeric
- 2 tbsp amba haldi
- 1 tbsp mung daal
- 1 tbsp tuvar dal
- 1 tbsp chana dal
- 8-10 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp asafoetida
- 1 cup grounded peanuts
- To taste Salt
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp as per taste chilli powder
- 2 lemons
Steps to make to make Kathiyawadi Ghuto
- Wash all vegetables thoroughly.
- Peel and chop all vegetables.
- Wash all dals.
- In a haandi add water. Once it's hot add daals. After few minutes add green peas, pigeon peas and broad beans.
- Add one by one all vegetables starting from hard one to soft one. Add all greens. This is to be cooked on medium flame for 45-50 minutes.
- Add tomatoes. Cook it nicely. Once cooked close the flame.
- Once bit cool, blend everything with blender.cook on slow flame.
- Add all spices and garam masala. Add grounded peanuts.
- In a tadka pan add oil. Add cumin and crushed garlic. Add asafoetida. Add chilli powder and add this tadka to ghuto.
- Add two lemon juice and chopped coriander.
- Enjoy this heavenly healthy food with bajra rotla and ghorvu.
