  12. 2 tablespoons Finely chopped spring onion
  13. 1.5 teaspoon light soya sauce
  14. 1 tablespoon Oil
  15. to taste Salt
  16. 1 pinch Black pepper

Instructions to make to make Momos

  1. In a mixing bowl add all-purpose flour, salt, oil and mix well. Now start adding little water at a time and make a smooth dough.
  2. The dough needs to be soft. Cover the dough and keep aside for 30 minutes.
  3. Now take a frying pan add oil to it then add chopped garlic and saute for a minute.
  4. Add chopped French beans and carrot first and cook for 3-4 minutes. After that add chopped cabbage, and capsicum and saute well. Now add chopped spring onions and toss it well.
  5. Add salt, soy sauce and black pepper. Toss the vegetables so that the seasoning mix properly.
  6. Now cool down the mixture by taking it out on a plate.
  7. Now divide the dough into equal portion and make small balls of the dough.
  8. Take each dough ball and on a lightly dusted board, roll each dough ball into a thin circle of about 2-3 inch diameter.
  9. Make the edges thin and the center thick.
  10. Place 1 or 2 tsp of vegetable stuffing in the center.
  11. Lift one side of the edge and start folding.
  12. Fold and join in the center. Prepare all the momos in this way and keep them covered under a moist napkin. Till you are ready to steam them.
  13. Heat water in a steamer, let the water come to a boil.
  14. In a greased steamer pan or in idli moulds, place the momos keeping space between them so that they don't touch each other.
  15. Steam the Momo's for 10-15 minutes.
  16. Once done take it out and serve the veg momos with a spicy sauce like schezwan sauce or tomato-chilli sauce or chilli sauce.
